Office and Workspace Murals: Why Brevard Businesses Paint Their Walls
Walk into most offices in Brevard County and the walls are bare drywall, a framed print, or a sign from a big-box store. It is a missed opportunity: the walls a client sees while they wait and the walls your team stares at all day are the cheapest square footage a business owns for making an impression. A hand-painted mural turns a lobby, conference room, or home office into a space people remember — and photograph.
What a mural does that a print can't
A printed canvas is something you hang on a wall. A mural becomes the wall — sized to the exact space, wrapped around corners, integrated with the logo placement and lighting the room actually has. Nothing is a near-fit, because the design is made for the wall it lives on.
It also says something about the business. A local Space Coast company with a hand-painted Space Coast scene in the lobby is making a quiet statement that it is rooted here — and that kind of detail is what clients mention afterward.

Ideas that work in an office
Different walls in a workspace do different jobs, so the design follows the room's function:
- The lobby or reception wall — the signature wall. A Space Coast scene, an abstract in the company's colors, or a landscape with the logo integrated cleanly into the composition.
- Conference rooms — calmer, horizon-line scenes or soft abstracts that read well on video calls. A mural behind the seated speaker makes every video call look intentional.
- Hallways and long corridors — repeating waves, dunes, or botanical lines that give a hallway rhythm and direction.
- Break rooms — brighter, lighter scenes that give people a genuine change of scene at lunch.
- Home offices — one feature wall with a coastal or botanical scene that sits nicely behind a desk on camera.
The video-call wall
Since so many meetings now start with a camera, the wall behind the desk has quietly become the most-looked-at wall in the building. A plain wall on a video call reads as unfinished; a cluttered bookshelf reads as distracting. A painted scene is the rare backdrop that looks considered on camera from every seat in the room.
This works just as well at home. A single painted wall behind a home-office desk gives video calls a professional setting without a green screen, and it makes the room feel finished the rest of the week.
Color matters on camera too: mid-tone scenes photograph better than very dark or very bright walls, and that gets factored into the design from the start.
Logos, branding, and paint
A common request is a mural that carries a company's brand. The way this works best is a scene that owns most of the wall with the logo placed as part of the composition — not a logo blown up to wall size with decoration around it. Colors are matched to the brand palette, and the design is approved before painting begins, so there are no surprises at reveal.
Timing is built around the business. The work is scheduled in conversation, sections can be sequenced so a lobby or work area stays usable, and the space is left clean at the end of each day.
